Emerald Coast Surfrider November News!

We are conducting water testing today. Chuck Barnes is out in the cold taking samples from the West end beaches of Perdido, Orange Beach, and Ft. Morgan. We expect results from last weeks testing in the next 7-10 days.
We will have our monthly chapter meeting next Tuesday, 11-9-10 at 6pm in the South Walton library conference room. We are also planning a meeting in Pensacola to discuss forming a West Florida Chapter. This is tentatively scheduled for Monday November 29th – time and location TBD. Please e-mail if you would like to help out.
And as if that is not enough, we have a great event coming up in Panama City- the Clean Water Good Vibes Music Festival 11-13-10 at Spinnaker!

Surfrider has so many ways for you to participate. Water testing, beach clean-ups, school programs, tabling at concerts and festivals…Pick the part you like and dive in!

Please e-mail me with the time/date/location information once it is set. Also, I have a small PA system I could set-up if it is needed.

Hi I am a teacher at Surfside Elementary in Satellite Beach. My students and I have collected mangrove propagules and have been rooting them for several weeks. I am interested in donating them to a local program or group of volunteers who could plant them for us.
    Thanks
