Hey, so we are in the water testing business. With all the Stand up boards operating on the dune lakes, and most especially with the number of women involved, it becomes prudent to test the lakes for Fecal Coliform. We started with western and eastern lakes. Both lakes were absent of fecal coliform. Water tests will be listed under that heading on the right side of the page.
We started today! We tested water from western lake and eastern lake. The samples will take 48 hours to reveal results, and they will be posted here!
This is to get started. We intend to test more lakes, BUT only ones where the public has access!
We will shortly begin testing the water of the Dune lakes that people use. If you want to volunteer, we could use water sample collection people, and perhaps a chance to learn how to test samples. This is new. The protocol, has not been established yet, but we will be doing it soon.
The last race of this YOLO race series will be on Sept. 18 at Bud n Alley’s, Seaside , FL. This has been a great opportunity for watermen and waterwomen to get together and meet one another. Everybody got to meet new and interesting people.
