Good news, the results for water tests done on 8-20 and 8-27-10 are in. No oil or dispersant were detected in the samples.
There were a couple of anomalies with the samples as two jars from the 8-20 group were broken in the lab . Also, there was some trouble with calibration and testing levels that may have biased the dispersant samples to a low report. However, after consultation, we have been assured that the negative results are likely valid.
If you have some lab experience and want to look over the data, we will have all the full reports for you to view at our next chapter meeting. Tuesday October, 12th 6pm at the South Walton public library. Lots to discuss, and as always we could use your help if you would like to volunteer.
